Ideas for our storyline

As a group we have narrowed all our ideas down to three and created short storylines to portray these ideas.




Our first idea:

Our first idea was to follow the events of a homeless male who documents his life in the form of a student-based film. When thinking this idea, we used inspiration from motion picture 'RENT' to which an inspiring young film maker strives to have his films, which depicts the realistic lives of many he has come into contact with. This young film writer would then find love on his journey, and has to choose between fame and his friends.


Second idea:
Our main characters beloved wife dies from her battle of cancer, which leaves our main character lost in a world he finds foreign now on his own. Our character takes the car and continues to drive on the road to escape the memories of his wife. He finds himself in the company of another woman, who reminds him of this beloved deceased, and because of that fact, he continues to drive with the thoughts of his life he left behind.


Third idea:

Still within our chosen genre of 'Road drama' this idea would tell the story of an apocalyptic journey to which a loving father journeys to find his teenage daughter who was taken from him in a raid from a group of ruffians.
